The VW Golf Mk 6 (5K) Cabriolet is the drop-top take on one of the most popular hot hatches of the era, and the Stance+ Ultra Coilover Kit is engineered specifically for it. Gas-assisted damping, zinc-plated bodies, and up to 90mm of adjustable drop, all designed and engineered in the UK.
The Ultra dampers are gas-assisted and oil-filled with FUCH damper oil, tuned around 25-30% firmer than factory. The gas assistance gives a smoother, more progressive damper feel, which is exactly what a cabriolet needs to keep body control tight without a punishing ride. NOK oil seals for long-term reliability, chrome silicon springs shot-peened for added strenght and powder-coated black to help prevent corrosion.
Cabriolets look great sat low, and the VW Golf Mk 6 drop-top is no exception. Fill the arches, tighten the handling, and give the roofless Golf the kind of presence that a good stance really delivers. This kit is set up for the 2WD Cabriolet, running the 1.2TSi, 1.4TSi, 1.8TSi, 2.0TFSi, 1.9TDi and 2.0TDi engines.
Fitting is a direct swap with your factory Cabriolet suspension. Reuses your OE top mounts and bearings, though we would always recommend fitting new items alongside the kit. Professional installation and a laser alignment reset are essential after fitting. Two C spanners and a pair of up-rated drop links are included.
