Feel the difference that gas-assisted damping makes. The Stance+ Ultra Coilover Kit for the BMW 1 Series (E88) Convertible replaces your factory suspension with a more refined, more capable setup, giving you a lower, sharper, better-handling car for the road.
Stance+ Ultra dampers are gas-assisted and oil-filled, with FUCH damper oil for maximum lubricity and NOK oil seals for durability. Damping rates are set approximately 25-30% above factory spec, which translates to less body roll, sharper turn-in, and a more composed feel on both fast A-roads and motorway runs. The gas charge gives the dampers a more progressive, refined response that sets the Ultra apart from entry-level oil-only kits.
A Convertible looks even better when it's been dropped and lowered professionally. The Stance+ Ultra kit sits your BMW 1 Series (E88) Convertible lower on its wheels for a more purposeful stance, and the gas-assisted damping keeps things composed whether the roof is up or down.
The kit uses your OE top mounts and bearings, and we'd always recommend replacing them with new items for the best results. Heavy duty short drop links are included where needed, and two C spanners are supplied for ride height adjustment. Fitting should be done by a qualified technician, with tracking and alignment reset afterwards. Stance+ Ultra Coilovers are backed by a 2-year warranty as standard.
