Your VW Golf Mk 6 (5K) Cabriolet 2WD was built for more than factory ride height. The Stance+ Street Coilover Kit is a fully adjustable suspension upgrade that lets you set the perfect drop for your driving style, 30-40mm for the daily commute or 60mm for that low slung show stance.
The uprated dampers are 25–30% stiffer than OE shocks delivering a huge improvement in chassis control. Expect less lean through corners, sharper turn-in, and a more connected feel when driving, the car will handle so much better than the stock factory suspension. The Stance+ springs are high-tensile chrome silicon steel, shot-peened for strength and powder-coated for protection against the British weather. Firm enough to improve performance but, compliant enough to live with every day.
This kit is designed for owners who use their cars every day. The ride is slightly firmer and far more controlled than stock, but it's not too hard. The kit uses your existing factory top mounts and bearings. We'd suggest replacing them with new ones for the best results. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified technician.
