Most coilovers compromise ride quality when run extremely low. The Stance+ Proline doesn't. The base-adjustable front struts physically change length rather than running the spring seat to the limit, so your VW Transporter T32 (T5/T5.1) maintains 100% damper travel whether it's sitting at 40mm or 150mm of drop. The T32 uses a bolt-on style front strut fitting, different from the clamp type used on the T26/T28/T30.
Base adjustment is the Proline's defining feature. Where most coilover kits achieve lowering by repositioning the spring seat, the Proline front struts change in physical length. Shorten the strut to go lower, lengthen it to go higher. The result is that your piston rod always has its full stroke available, giving the suspension system everything it needs to do its job properly at any ride height from 40 to 150mm of drop. Adjustment can be done while the kit is on the van.
Underneath the Proline's headline drop numbers is a properly specified damper package. Gas-assisted, oil-filled FUCH dampers uprated around 25-30% over standard, with NOK oil seals for durability and FUCH damper oil for consistent lubricity. Chrome silicon springs are shot-peened for strength and powder-coated black. Powder coated bodies complete a kit that's engineered to perform and built to last.
Fixed damping is set at around 25-30% above factory specification, tuned to suit the specific weight and geometry of your VW Transporter T32 (T5/T5.1). Fitting is a direct swap with your factory suspension, reusing OE top mounts and bearings. We always recommend fitting new top mounts. Copper grease the threaded base and collars before fitting to protect the threads and ensure easy future adjustment. The kit uses the factory drop links, however our short universal kits can be used if needed. Have it installed by a qualified mechanic and get the alignment reset on a proper laser alignment machine. 2-year warranty as standard.
