The Stance+ Proline Coilover Kit is built for enthusiasts who want to go further than most coilover kits allow. Base-adjustable front struts physically change length to achieve extreme ride heights on your VW Passat Mk 5 (3C/B7) Saloon and Estate, with adjustment possible while the kit is still fitted to the car. Suitable for 2WD and 4 Motion models.
Base adjustment is the Proline's defining feature. Where most coilover kits achieve lowering by repositioning the spring seat, the Proline front struts change in physical length. Shorten the strut to go lower, lengthen it to go higher. The result is that your piston rod always has its full stroke available, giving the suspension system everything it needs to do its job properly at any ride height from 30 to 75mm of drop. Adjustment can be done while the kit is on the car.
Underneath the Proline's headline drop numbers is a properly specified damper package. Gas-assisted, oil-filled FUCH dampers uprated around 25-30% over standard, with NOK oil seals for durability and FUCH damper oil for consistent lubricity. Chrome silicon springs are shot-peened for strength and powder-coated black. Powder coated damper bodies complete a kit that's engineered to perform and built to last.
This kit runs fixed uprated damping, set at approximately 25-30% stiffer than standard. It's a firm, sporty setup tuned specifically for your VW Passat Mk 5 (3C/B7) to deliver the best balance of performance and road comfort at extreme ride heights.
The Proline's base-adjustable design gives your VW Passat Mk 5 (3C/B7) up to 75mm of drop while keeping 100% damper travel intact, so the suspension system can do its job properly at any ride height.
The kit uses your OE top mounts and bearings. New ones are always worth fitting at the same time. Before installation, copper grease all threaded components to protect them and make future height adjustments straightforward. Fitting must be carried out by a qualified technician, with a full alignment reset afterwards. Drop links are included where needed. Backed by a 2-year Stance+ warranty.
