Stance+ Grey EZ Camber Shims are precision-engineered suspension components used to correct rear wheel camber and toe on cars fitted with a solid or fixed beam rear axle. These are the vehicles where factory camber adjustment is limited or simply does not exist, including many popular Audi, Chrysler, Ford, Mazda, MG, Rover and Vauxhall models.
Unlike camber bolts, which replace a strut bolt to tilt the hub, Stance+ Camber Shims are inserted directly between the rear wheel hub assembly and the rear beam or axle. The varying thickness of the shim tilts the hub relative to the axle, correcting the angle of the wheel without drilling or permanent modification.
When a car fitted with a fixed beam rear axle is lowered, the beam geometry causes the rear wheels to take on excessive negative camber. Left uncorrected, this results in uneven tyre wear on the inner edge and reduced tyre contact with the road surface. Stance+ Camber Shims are a clean, reversible fix that puts the geometry back where it should be.
Supplied as an axle kit (pair of shims). One kit required per car. Fitment takes approximately 40 to 60 minutes.
For safety reasons we strongly advise fitting is carried out by a qualified vehicle mechanic or trained vehicle technician. Always have the alignment reset using a suitable laser alignment machine after fitting.
Fitment note: For use on the rear of cars fitted with a fixed beam rear axle only. Refer to our vehicle fitment list to confirm compatibility before ordering.
