When you lower a car, you change the camber and caster settings. The lower you go, the more negative camber you run. On the VW Golf MK4 platform vehicles the front suspension strut slides into the front hub so unfortunately Camber Bolts cannot be used. Instead, you need a camber and caster adjustable top mount to sort out the front suspension geometry.

Suitable for: Audi A3 (8L), Audi TT (8N3/8N9), Seat Leon (1M), Seat Toledo MK2 (1M), Skoda Octavia (1U), VW Beetle (9C/1Y/1C), VW Bora (1J) and VW Golf MK4 (1J). The Stance+ Camber and Caster Adjustable Top Mount Set is the answer for rectifying front suspension camber/caster issues on all VW Golf MK4 platform vehicles. They are suitable for all 2WD, 4 Motion and Quattro models mentioned above.
This 8-piece polyurethane top mount set replaces the factory front strut top mount assembly on each side, giving you up to +/-1.0 degree of positive or negative camber correction, combined with caster adjustment. Unlike a simple camber bolt which only tilts the hub at the lower mounting point, adjusting the top mount changes the geometry at the top of the strut, giving more precise and consistent correction across the full range of suspension travel.
This kit is especially effective on VW/Audi group cars running coilover suspension with a significant drop. It uses the factory original mounting bolts and factory torque settings, so there is no need for special hardware. Supplied as a pair, one kit covers both front corners. Fitment takes approximately 40 to 60 minutes.
For safety reasons we strongly advise fitting is carried out by a qualified vehicle mechanic or trained vehicle technician. Always have the alignment reset using a suitable laser alignment machine after fitting.
