The Bentley Bentayga is built on the MLB platform shared with the Audi Q7. MLB, short for Modular Longitudinal Matrix, is a platform built by the Volkswagen and Audi group for large, longitudinal, front-engined luxury vehicles.
The Bentayga is enormous, fast and luxurious. At factory ride height it is also a fair bit taller than its proportions really want to be. With air suspension as standard, lowering it has historically been an expensive proposition. Bolt them in instead of the fixed-length factory air links and the Bentayga becomes ride-height adjustable, dropping anywhere from standard ride height to 60mm lower, set by the millimetre.
The factory air system, the lift mode and the adaptive dampers all stay exactly as Bentley engineered them. There are no ECU error codes and no dashboard warning lights.
Particularly worth doing on the W12 Speed and V8 cars, where the wider track really benefits from a more planted stance.
