Wheel camber is the tilt of the tyre as viewed from the front or rear of the car. When you lower a car, you change the camber and caster settings. The lower you go, the more negative camber you run. Left uncorrected, this causes uneven tyre wear, affects braking performance and can compromise handling.
The 17mm bolt is the largest in the range, made for the biggest hub carriers on large saloons and SUVs.
Stance+ Camber Bolts are a straightforward, cost-effective solution for correcting front or rear camber on lowered cars. They replace the factory suspension strut bolt with an eccentric lobe bolt that allows the hub to be tilted, giving you precise camber adjustment without changing any other suspension components.
Made from high-strength steel and zinc plated for corrosion resistance, Stance+ Camber Bolts give up to 1.75 degrees of positive or negative camber adjustment. Supplied as a pair, one kit is required per axle. Fitment takes approximately 30 minutes per axle.
For safety reasons we strongly advise that all Stance+ Camber Bolt kits are fitted by a qualified vehicle mechanic or trained vehicle technician. Once fitted, always have the alignment reset using a suitable laser alignment machine.
Fitting Stance+ Camber Bolts: First take a baseline camber reading to determine whether your car needs a positive or negative camber correction. Raise the vehicle safely and remove the wheel. Remove the top suspension bolt and loosen the bottom bolt. Replace the top factory bolt with the Stance+ camber bolt. With the large tab on the washer pointing towards the centre of the car, this gives negative camber. With the large tab pointing towards the wheel, this gives positive camber. Loosen the bolt and rotate the inner lobe for fine adjustment. Once the desired setting is achieved, torque all bolts back to factory settings. Road test the vehicle, then re-check torque and camber angle.
Fitment note: These are universal camber bolts, sized by the diameter of the original bolt they replace. Please confirm your hub carrier bolt diameter before ordering. Refer to our vehicle fitment list or contact us if you are unsure.
