This conversion is an increasingly popular conversion allowing wheels from Japanese manufacturers such as Honda, Nissan, Toyota and Mazda to be fitted to vehicles running the 5x100 (57.1) c/bore bolt pattern, bridging the gap between two of the most common 5 stud patterns. Commonly used by many customers with VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda and similar cars fitted with the older 5x100 (57.1) c/bore hubs. These adapters allow you to run various Japanese wheels that use the 5x114.3 (60.1) c/bore PCD.
Supplied as a pair with 25mm of width per side, the adapters are CNC machined from billet T6061 aircraft grade aluminium with steel helicoil inserts on most applications for added strength. The anodised matt silver finish is chosen specifically to complement the colour of your wheel hubs rather than stand out behind your alloys like the black-finished alternatives from other brands.
The 25mm width sits in the sweet spot of the Stance+ range, giving a noticeable improvement in wheel stance whilst remaining compatible with standard suspension geometry on most vehicles. It is a popular choice for those wanting a subtle but purposeful look.
Fitting is straightforward. The adapter bolts to your wheel hub using the supplied mounting bolts, and your new wheels bolt to the adapter using the original wheel bolts that came with those wheels. The original hub bolts used to fit the adapter are included in the kit. Once fitted and torqued correctly, the adapter sits neatly behind the wheel with no visible hardware.
Prepare the hub surface with a wire brush to ensure it is clean and flat before fitting. A small amount of copper grease applied to the hub face will help prevent the adapter from seizing and protect against rust over time. All bolts should be tightened to the vehicle manufacturer's specified torque settings. For safety reasons we recommend that these adapters are fitted by a qualified vehicle mechanic or trained vehicle technician.
Please note: Always test fit the adapter against the back of your wheel before bolting it to the hub. This is particularly important with 25mm adapters, as the wheel bolts may protrude through the back face depending on your specific wheel and bolt combination.
