This Stance+ 40mm PCD Wheel Hub Adapter kit converts your early VW/Audi group or similar 4x100 (57.1) c/bore car fitment to a 5x130 (71.6) c/bore Porsche wheel fitment, making it an ideal solution for those wanting to fit quality Porsche specification 5x130 wheels to an older 4x100 vehicle. 40mm is a very thick adapter and is normally used on high offset Porsche wheels ensuring perfect brake caliper and inner arch clearance.

At this width it is important to ensure you have sufficient arch clearance and that your suspension geometry is set up correctly to accommodate the additional track width. The adapter bolts directly onto your wheel hub using the mounting bolts that are supplied as part of the kit. Your new wheels are then attached to the adapter using the wheel bolts that came with those wheels. The setup is clean and secure, with the adapter concealed behind the wheel once everything is assembled and torqued up. We recommend re-checking the torque on all bolts after your first drive.
Start by cleaning the hub face with a wire brush to ensure a clean, flat mating surface. Apply a small amount of copper grease to prevent the adapter from bonding to the hub over time and to help resist corrosion. All bolts should be torqued to the factory-specified settings for your vehicle. As with all suspension and wheel components, Stance+ strongly recommend that these adapters are fitted by a qualified vehicle mechanic or trained vehicle technician.
Important: Before bolting the adapter to your car, always test fit it against the back of the wheel. With 40mm adapters it is possible that the wheel bolts, depending on their length, may protrude through the back of the adapter. If this is the case, they will need to be shortened.
