This 35mm kit converts a VW/Audi group or similar 4x100 (57.1) c/bore car to Porsche 5x130 (71.6) c/bore and is an ideal solution for those wanting to fit original high end Porsche specification 5x130 wheels to an older VW/Audi group 4x100 vehicle. This conversion is hugely popular on the VW scene, and we offer a huge range of fitments from 15mm to 40mm widths.
Every adapter in the Stance+ range is CNC machined from billet T6061 aircraft grade aluminium and finished in anodised matt silver, chosen because it sits far more discreetly behind your alloys than the black finish used by many competing brands. The kit is supplied as a pair with all necessary adapter mounting hardware included.
The 35mm width is firmly in performance stance territory, pushing the wheel out to fill the arch and achieve a more aggressive look. At this width you should check that your wheel and tyre combination clears your arch liner and suspension components before fitting. Normally higher offset Porsche wheels use these thicker PCD adapters.
The Stance+ PCD adapter bolts to your vehicle's wheel hub using the bolts provided. Your chosen wheels then bolt to the adapter using the original bolts that came with those wheels. The design means the adapter is completely hidden behind the wheel once fitted. It is important to check that your wheel bolts do not protrude through the back of the adapter before final assembly.
Clean the hub surface thoroughly before fitting, using a wire brush to remove any scale, rust or debris. Apply copper grease sparingly to the hub face to prevent corrosion and make future removal easier. Tighten all bolts progressively to the recommended torque specification. Stance+ recommends that all PCD adapters are installed by a qualified vehicle mechanic or trained vehicle technician to ensure a safe and correct fit.
Important fitment note: With 35mm adapters, it is essential to test fit against the back of the wheel before mounting on the car. The wheel bolts you are using may protrude through the back face of the adapter depending on bolt length and wheel design. If they do, the bolts must be shortened before use. Wheel bolts are not included in this kit. Maximum recommended torque for wheel bolts is 110 NM. If in doubt, please call us for advice.
