35mm Lowering Springs for Mazda 2 Petrol (DY) 2003-2007

Details

Lower your Mazda 2 (DY) Hatchback Petrol engine by 35mm and feel the difference from the first roundabout. The Stance+ Lowering Spring Kit replaces your factory springs with progressively wound, uprated units that genuinely transform how the car looks and how it drives.

Progressive winding means the coil rate isn't constant from end to end. The top of the spring uses wider coil spacing for a softer rate, giving you the compliance you want for everyday driving. As the spring compresses under cornering load, the tighter lower coils take over and the rate climbs. The Mazda 2 (DY) Hatchback Petrol engine gets noticeably less body roll without the harshness you'd expect from a stiffer spring.

Spring rates are set approximately 25-30% above factory, giving your Mazda 2 (DY) a noticeably sportier character without being uncomfortably stiff. Body roll is cut down, steering response sharpens, and the car settles more quickly over bumps. Built from high-tensile chrome silicon steel, shot-peened and powder-coated for durability.

This kit is engineered specifically for the Petrol-engined variant of the Mazda 2 (DY Chassis), suitable for the 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 engines.

Petrol and Diesel models often have different front-end weights, which means a kit tuned for one won't always give the correct ride height on the other. Always check your engine type before ordering.

For drivers who want the look and the handling improvement without going the full coilover route, the Stance+ Lowering Spring Kit hits the sweet spot. 35mm fixed lowering, progressive coil winding, and a 25-30% increase in spring rates, all working with your factory dampers.

A direct swap with your factory springs. Your existing dampers stay in place; no calibration is required. Professional fitting is recommended, and a proper laser alignment must be carried out once the kit is on the car. 1-year warranty as standard.

This Stance+ 35mm Lowering Spring Kit is suitable for: Mazda 2 (DY) (2003-2007) Hatchback. 2WD. Fitted with the following engines: 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6.
