Stance+ Ultra Coilovers VW Scirocco R Project Car

One of our favourite Stance+ shop cars.

This Candy white VW Scirocco R was purchased stock back in 2016. 

Scirocco's look great lowered and you can fit some huge wheels under those extended arches. With the right wheel and coilover choice you can acheive the perfect stanced hot hatch.

Simple mods turned this car into a real head turner. We fitted Stance+ Ultra Coilovers (Ultra Low). Lowered around 90mm all round. For a cleaner look we flushed out the reg holder and parking sensors on the front bumper, painted the VW badges white and fitted a front carbon lower spoiler from Rieger. 

With the car sitting so low we needed some super wide wheels to acheive an aggressive, wide look. Cast13 RB2 18x9.5 et35 wheels were fitted all round combined with our Stance+ System B (20mm) bolt on wheel spacers. This gave the car a new wheel offset of et15. (Pushing the wheels closer to the arches) and the perfect aggressive driving Stance.

For a little more go a Revo full Air intake kit was fitted to replace the restrictive factory air box, up-rated fuel pump and up-rated engine mounts were added, combined with a stage 2 Engine and DSG Gearbox map. The exhaust was swapped to a full Milltek turbo back system with a single rear silencer box. Total package increased power by around 80 BHP.

2.0TFSi with Revo Stage 2 tune (Approx 335BHP+) DSG gearbox. Candy white paint.

  • Milltek down-pipes and full none-resonated exhaust system.
  • EBC Turbo Grooved Discs and Yellowstuff pads.
  • Maxton design front spoiler and side blades.
  • All black plastics painted gloss black.
  • Rotiform KPS wheels 18x9.5 rear wheels and 18x8.5 front wheels running Yokohama Neova 225/40/18 front and 235/40/18 rear tyres all round.
