With the success of our Stance+ Street Coilover kit for the VW Transporter T5 and T6 models we had a small hardcore few customers that wanted to drop their vans even lower.

The only way was to swap the coilover design from an adjustable spring seat type coilover to a base adjustable unit. Base adjustable coilovers lower by changing the length of the coilover strut without sacrificing damper travel. The main spring is pre-tensioned and the height adjustment is done by altering the length of the coilover. You simply screw the coilover through the base unit.

Development of this new type of coilover took around 12 months and we called them Proline. 

Our new Stance+ Proline Coilovers range was released in late 2021.

The Stance+ Proline kits offer extreme lowering with uncompromised levels of comfort. The coilover units are base adjustable in length, which ensures full damper travel no matter how low you run your Transporter. Base adjustment kits still allow 100% travel of the piston rod as lowering is done by making the coilover strut physically shorter. Proline kits ensure extreme lowering with a smooth and compliant ride quality.

 

In winter 2021 we purchased a VW Transporter T6.1 (T26 Panel Van) as a test vehicle for our new extreme Proline lowering kit. We ran the test kit for around 6 months before putting it into full production. We still have the van today, it can be seen at various shows and meets we attend accross the UK.

Max lowering front 40mm-150mm.
Max lowering rear 40mm-120mm.

We have sold this Proline kit for over 5 years now and have had some great feedback. Its been designed for customers that want to run their vans extremely low and that's exactly what it does.

The Stance+ Proline Coilover Kits are available for all VW Transporter (T5/T5.1) and Transporter (T6/T6.1) in the T26/T28/T30 and T32 platform.

2.0 Bi-TDi Highline model with DSG gearbox. Indium Grey paint.

  • Stance+ Proline Coilovers: Lowered approximately 120mm front 95mm rear.
  • H&R Anti-roll bars.
  • Powerflex camber and caster chassis bushes.
  • Leyton Vans front lower spoiler, de-badged grill and grill inserts. All black plastics have been painted gloss black. 
  • Tinted side repeaters.
  • Japan Racing JR11 wheels 20x11 rear wheels and 20x10 front wheels running Toyo Proxes Sport 245/35/20 front and 275/35/20 rear tyres all round
  • Sound deadened and carpet lined interior.
  • Revo Stage 1 remap.
  • Interior carpeted in grey carpet and alcantara.
