Stance+ Street Coilovers VW Caddy Mk 3 (2K) Project Van
Welcome to our Stance+ Shop VW Caddy Mk 3 (2K) project Van (2015-2019)
We bought this VW Caddy Mk 3 (2K) Facelift van new back in October 2014 as a test mule for our newly released Stance+ Street Coilover suspension kit. The Street kit was especially made and developed on this very van. We owned the van for 4 years, from (2015-2019). In the 4 years of ownership we did approximately 20,000 trouble free miles.
As you can see the van is set very low. Its more of a show van than a daily work horse but like most of our customers we were after "the look" and the perfect driving stance.
A lot of people at the time asked if it was on air ride and were always very surprised when we told them it was on coilovers.
With the van being set so low you would think the ride would be very harsh however we are pleased to report it was very compliant and drove great. You just needed to be very careful to not catch the front spoiler on speed bumps and steep inclines.
The front coilovers were wound all the way down, with around 5mm of thread left, the rear shackle kit was set on the second setting from the bottom. We found this a perfect set up for daily use, however you needed to be careful with the front subframe on speed bumps and potholes.

1.6TDi Highline model with manual gearbox. Indium Grey paint.
Modifications:
- Stance+ Street Coilover Kit. Lowered approximately 90mm front 80mm rear.
- Colour coded sliding door rail. All black plastics have been painted gloss black.
- Vmaxx big brake kit.
- Powerflex chassis bushes.
- Cast13 RB3 18x9.5 et35 fitted with Stance+ 5mm spacers on the rear. Toyo Proxes Sport 225/35/18 tyres all round
- Revo Stage 1 remap
- Interior carpeted in grey carpet and alcantara.
